Stories of Summer

Stories of Summer is a romanticization of childhood, paying homage to the coming-of-age stories we all know and love. In this One-Page Tabletop Role Playing Game, you and your friends will tell a story of a group of preteens getting into trouble and learning about themselves along the way.

The gameplay harnesses the lighthearted fun of childhood by prompting the players to complete various challenges to determine the consequences of their characters' actions. Challenges are randomly determined by pulling from a deck of playing cards and include classic games like rock, paper, scissors, and tic-tac-toe, as well as unique tasks like making the GM laugh. Your success during the challenge determines your character's success in the story.

Stories of Summer is meant to be a collaborative storytelling experience. Stories are made interesting when characters have flaws, so try your best but don't be afraid to fail and, ultimately, have fun!!!
